Heritage Motor Centre to showcase special 1963 Jaguar Mark X

The Heritage Motor Centre, home to the world's largest historic collection of British cars, is to showcase a special 1963 Jaguar Mark X as part of an exhibition by leading Portuguese artist ‘Miguel Palma’. The exhibition is being held in conjunction with the Mead Gallery at Warwick Arts Centre from 1 – 29 May 2010. The car itself will be on display at the HMC from 1 May - 30 June 2010.

Special weekend to celebrate Land Rovers & Range Rovers

The Heritage Motor Centre, home to the world's largest collection of British cars, is to host a special celebratory weekend for Land Rovers and Range Rovers. The weekend, which takes place from 1 - 3 May, will feature the annual Heritage Land Rover Show and celebrate both the Range Rovers 40th anniversary and the launch of the new Land Rover Experience at the HMC. Thousands of enthusiasts and club members will congregate at the HMC to enjoy a host of exciting events and activities over the three days.

Roary the Racing Car & Big Chris to make a guest appearance at the Heritage Motor Centre!

The Heritage Motor Centre has a whole host of exciting events and activities taking place for all the family during the Easter holidays.  One highlight will be the chance to see Roary the Racing Car and Big Chris on Sunday 28 March at various intervals from 10am – 4pm. These well loved and popular TV characters will be visiting the Centre for a fantastic family fun day of crafts, quizzes and colouring. Children will be able to have their photographs taken with the cheeky young racing car and mechanic as a memento of their day. The Centres electric Go Karts will also be open for those under 8 years who want to have some fun behind the wheel and the petrol Go Karts will be open for those aged 8 years and over.

Heritage Motor Centre wins prestigious industry award

The Heritage Motor Centre, home to the world's largest historic collection of British cars, has won a prestigious award at the Renaissance West Midlands Best of the West Awards 2010. The results were announced at a ceremony on Friday 26 February at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham. The Centre scooped the ‘Best Temporary Exhibition Award’ for the Mini 50th Anniversary Exhibition which took place in 2009. The annual awards programme aims to reward excellence and highlight best practice in museums and galleries in the West Midlands.

Mini Fortnight - Maximum Fun
